The XXVI Brazilian Algebra Meeting/XXVI Escola de Álgebra will be held at the Department of Mathematics of the Federal University of Paraná (UFPR), Curitiba-PR, from July 26th to July 31st of 2020. This is the 26th edition of the most traditional and by far the largest conference dedicated to Algebra and its applications held in Brazil. The Algebra Meeting is a biannual meeting, and its first edition was held in 1972.
The Brazilian Algebra Meeting is devoted to reuniting graduate and undergraduate students with researchers in the field, creating an environment where researchers may discuss ideas and ongoing projects with colleagues and students. The topics of the conference include algebra in its broadest sense and its applications. The working language of the conference is English, with the exception of elementary level mini-courses which should be held in Portuguese.
